Default Cable internet(LAN) configuration
I am using PCBSD and I really like it, the problem i am facing is that i am using cable internet through my LAN card but i dont know how to configure it, i know my IP,Subnet,Gateway,DNS,Broadband Add but dont know where to enter that.
My LAN card model is VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter.

Hi Jaideep. Run sysinstall command in your console as root. Then choose Configure and then network - you'll have to choose your interface from the list to set it up. Another way - if you're familiar with unix - you can directly add your LAN preferences to the /etc/rc.conf file (example of it is available at /etc/defaults/rc.conf file - look at Network configuration sub-section).
