This is no way a final version, this is not even alpha. You'll see here mockup of upcoming PC-BSD 1.4 firewall.

Feature requests and ideas are welcome!

Just a thought but would it be possible to have something like that for FreeBsd ?? maybe even add it to the ports system ?? That is for the PF Firewall right ??

Actually this gui can be used for any firewall out there, it's just visible layer to underlying system. Note, here is no network devices defined right now- I have couple of ideas about this matter but it may take time to sort all features out and start writing actual code. I think that submitting it into FreeBSD ports repository is a good idea.

And now you can look at advanced tab...

I should comment this firewall configurator a bit. Firewalls are complex tools and if something goes awry, you want previous working configuration BACK, FAST, RIGHT NOW! Usually. Of course if you are die hard FreeBSD hacker and like CLI then you don't care. So, saving configurations for testing purposes is my primary concern.

Suit yourself.

Looks nice antik but you've got a lot of work to do to fill in the code :)

Some logging features seem amis, thats what i like about my windows firewall, not the default one, kerio personal firewall.

Otherwise it looks awesome, Im not online with PCBSD, and still think that a vanilla installation barely needs defense for desktop users, but why not go overkill and make it the best damned firewall frontend ever concieved?

I know firewalls don't show bandwidth but why not? I know some ISP have bandwidth cap it would be a nice feature to show. Also an option to reset it to zero.
