What system requirements are recommended for PC-BSD and is there any way of putting your own OS on a CD?

( Like if I wanted to put a lighter desktop/windowmanager with the base system for installing elsewhere without extra hassle).

Hey there, requirements should be similar if not equal to the Freebsd 5.4 release, since PCBSD 0.7.8 is based on it.

Thanks - does anyone have any idea on how to create your own system based on PC-BSD? Like if I was to put some programs and chnage some settings so I could easily restore / install PC-BSD then how would I go about it?
