HI there.
pls excuse my english
after some Weeks using pc-bsd 1.4 on my old Acer Travelmate 530 without any problems i have decied to kick Ubuntu from my workstation and use PCBSD 1.4.1. --> Bad Idea...
I got the Fatal Trap Error mentioned in the Knowledgebase, but I'm not able to resolve it.
I have turned off ACPI in the BIOS --> PCBSD freezes at "Loading configuration files." Oh sorry, after some minutes it wrote "Entropy harvesting: interrupts" (don't know what PCBSD want's to tell me....)
Booting with Option 2 (no ACPI) --> system resets after showing "PC-BSD is loading"
System:
CPU:
Intel P4 2,8Ghz
Mainboard:
ASUS P4P800SE
RAM:
1GB DDR1/400
Graphics:
ATI Radeon 9600, 256MB
DVD-Rom connected to SATA (PC-BSD seems to have problems with this drive during install, used USB-Drive to install)
I tried BSD on my notebook because I was not happy with several Linux-Distributions and i was quite impressed how fast and stable PCBSD runs on this device and now i want to install it on my Servers (freebsd) and all PCs (okay, my gamemachine will still use XP

).
since I am relative new to bsd (I'm a Windows Admin with a little knowledge on Debian and Solaris), I need some hints how I can solve this problem and where I have to look.
Thanks!
