Default problems with pcbsd an apple airport
hi i just bought me a new laptop and istalled pcbsd didnt work out really easy but i managed my problem now is that i have a apple airport express station at home and i cant connect to the internet or the network if i scan for wlan networks it find the apple network and i can somehow connect to it but i dont get a ip or anything else in older forum topics there are a few solutions but those are for older bsd versions and wont work out for the 1.4 do i have to put up a new kernel but actually bsd finds the etwork card so i shouldnt write something or do i still have to do that would be nice if someone could help me

? im not english and a noob if it comes to bsd
ok i tried to connect with a wep and wpa an without security settings
i can find the network and connect to it but cant work with it
i tried the automatic dhcp ip configuration and the manually
i can neither ping the airportstation nor the mac connected to it
my hardware is a build in wireless ethernet card atheros 5424/2424
normal IEEE 802.11
i hope this helps more then my first post
