ATI R250 (9000 RADEON MOBILE) which driver: ati or radeon?

ATI R250 (9000 RADEON MOBILE) which driver: ati or radeon?

Using the standard installer, I selected ati-3d-enable; it works, but it's loading the R200 micorcode and my system is a R250 chipset. Which driver is better for 3d -- 'ati' or 'radeon?' They are both on the system harddrive.
