Are you asking for remote desktop client or server. PC-BSD uses krdc
(that is just GUI for VNC or tightVNC client I do not know) just look in the menu.
For server I am not sure. Check /var/db/pkg for VNC. I believe that PC-BSD uses full VNC which means that you have pre-installed server and client. If you do not find server you may chose form 3-4 different VNC servers in ports. I have experience with VNC server but I think there is one in ports which is even better.
If you compile things from ports I would suggest SSVNC for a client that is TightVNC improved.
What is the second thing you want to do?
That is some MS crap right? Probably not. You are better of running MS applications using MS operating system.
