Sound Driver not working

Everything worked great post installation, even my wifi card, except my sound. KDE gives me this error.

Sound server informational message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp0.1 can't be opened (No such file or directory)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.

I have no idea where to go to find what sound card I have.

try kldload sound
