Got an email about DRM going down

I am a ZDnet subscriber and got this article in an email today. It is definately good to hear people announcing that DRM will not last, as in limited days.

Do remember, just because someone SAYS something will happen, this does not mean it will (though, presumably like yourself, I do loath DRM and wish for its downfall).

No, I do not presume but do look at the aspect of everyone and their Momma hates DRM, plus Steve Jobs is pushing to rid us of it, so we have some power on our side. :wink:

:lol: Don't kid yourself. What Steve Jobs SAYS, and what Steve Jobs DOES are two entirely different things. When one considers Apple's history of vendor lock-in, one sees that being truly anti-DRM just isn't their style. Oh sure, they'll make noises about how it's bad, but I seriously doubt they're against it any more than Microsoft.
