NVIDIA Drivers Installation?

How would I go about doing this?

The last time I installed the NVIDIA drivers, I did a quick reboot and then my system would just keep rebooting after loading. After reading a bit, I'm thinking it's a kernel panic.

All I did was fetch the system sources, then download the drivers for BSD from nvidia.com, then did make install and then nvidia-xconfig.

TY for the help. I really like PC-BSD and it's PBI's. But, they need to be more updated. =( If they were more updated I would just install the PBI for the NVIDIA driver, but the current one is outdated.

I have Nvidia 7100gs. Does it support in PC-BSD 1.4 Beta ?
