I had to reinstall my Vista and PC-BSD OS's due to something I needed to fix. My Vista install worked fine (not that anyone cares about MS) and that is how I set up my partitions. I did not format the partition which I planned to install BSD on, which is the same thing that I did when I installed before and it worked.
Now, when I install BSD I always get a Failed Install error that tells me to try booting in safe mode and installing again. Safe mode doesnt work either.
I've seen above the install progress bar where the text tells you what its doing too fast for anyone to really read all of it; what I can make of it is "failed to create /usr/...." and behind that it says it "can't create /usr/..." where ... is what I cant remember.
Anyone have any ideas? I got all of the previous issues I had taken care of and my computer all put back together and I was really looking forward to getting back into BSD.
