personal firewall slows down my connection

1) Can someone please tell me why the
built in firewall Slows down my connection

2) Also if i choose to install fwbuilder
Which file do i edit to let BSD know which
pf file i am using

i also discovered my Routers ac adapter was loose
and not plugged into the ac tight enough lol

i had thought the PCc-BSD built in firewall was Bogging
my Connection down.but i was wrong about that.

i was playing around with pc-bsd settings and noticed the
Kde control Module in connection preferences

The Server Response time was set to 20
i wanted to see what happens if i lowered it to 2

When i did that The Web Browser Flew fro page to page with Amazing Speed
