Default Enable root :S /pbi problem
Is there a way i can enable the root user? I need to enable it as i cancled a pbi package half way through installation as i did not tell it to put links in menu. Now i cannot re-install the package as it reads as installed but the package is unusable. It won't show in the installed pbi's.

If i can enable root i can just delete it out.

You can deinstall it from system menu by launching "PBI software manager".

You can also uninstall PBI as root from the command line.

PBIDelete -list

PBIDelete -remove ExactNameReturnedFrom-list

or is it PBIdelete... I forget (rarly use pbi any more).

If some thing doesn't show up in the software manager or PBIDelete. Its probably not in the database'esque file (/Programs/.conf/Progsomething or other I think).

In which case you can just open a root konsole, cd to /Programs/PBIDirectory and run the uninstall script

./PBI.RemoveScript.sh

and remove the directory (this part can be done through konqueror if ran as root).

cd ..
rm -rf ./PBIDirectory
