Default Sharing keyboard/mouse with x2x
Is anyone using x2x or synergy for sharing a mouse and keyboard across monitors ? A lot of lcd monitors have dual inputs - so it is possible to connect 2 pc's to the monitor and simply move between them with a switch. But the mouse and keyboard require another solution. I would like to connect to pcbsd with x2x. Any ideas ? In the log below 192.168.1.102 is the pcbsd machine.

blah@novell:~> x2x -to 192.168.1.102:0 -from 192.168.1.101:0 -west
x2x - error: can not open display 192.168.1.101:0

I don't know a bout x2x, but I believe Belkin makes a switch that connects a monitor, keyboard, and mouse to two different computers and allows one to switch between them.

Is the user who started the X session on the from display the same one who's starting x2x?
There may be an issue with permissions.
