i'm a newbie and i hv a problem....well, look at the screenshot http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s.../snapshot2.png.....compare the font size of the apps and the font size of the desktop icons and the taskbar.....
so, how to fix it? i've adjusted the font size from the settings menu....but i still ended up like this...
Try to edit /etx/X11/xorg.conf and in Monitor section erase higher resolutions. I had similar problem. Fonts were ugly and very big for example in instalation of pbi files. I've deleted those higher resoluions and now it works fine.

by adjusting the DPI, the fonts on the desktop, in the k menu, and on the taskbar don't seem to be affected..is it meant to be this way, or there's some problem with it?
