pc-bsd 1.3 cant mount ntfs partitions

I recently upgraded my pc bsd 1.2 with 1.3 . But after upgrading the system is unable to mount the ntfs partitions which 1.2 was able to .
When I click the ntfs partitions the system gives and error message "HAL required to mount the partition".

Please Help

Please post the output of

# mkdir /test
# mount -t ntfs <your device> /test

Your suggestion for using the command

# mkdir /test
# mount -t ntfs <your device> /test
works , but the icons for the partitions are still not showing up. But any way that doesnot matter any more.
