Default load .xinitrc file
I found that when PC-BSD start Xorg, it doesn't load .xinitrc file. How to resolve this?

I noticed that when toying with using BB inplace of KWin for KDE. I just edited my /etc/ttys file to use XDM instead of KDM for the login. The exact line can be found in the FreeBSD handbooks section on setting up the X Windows system.

I don't know if theres a way to make KDM use it (the KDE login program). I think it's just a kdm issue...

If you use login manager like KDM or GDM then you don't need .xinitrc at all. Use ~.kde/Autostart feature instead.

Yeah, see the KDE FAQ for how to get things running at startup:

http://docs.kde.org/development/en/kdeb ... #id2560283

Basically, open up Konqueror, then Go->Autostart. This opens up a folder that you can create new links, drag links to from the K menu, etc.
