OK...let us go back to step one...josh/madman has created a freenx PBI (I don't know why it wasn't publically published...don't care if it breaks conventions...all I know is that it works) that you can still download here

where you can get the older clients (version 2.0 does not work with this PBI so I had to regress my Windows client from 2.0 back to 1.5).
I don't see in this thread what client you are using or on what OS it is. I can log on to my home (PC-BSD 1.2 running the freenx PBI above) from my WinXP at work as dracheflieger (don't try to login as nx and you must have ssh enabled) and using Windows noMachine nx client 1.5, no setup at all other than install and login. The only difference that I can see from work or on the local machine is the display resolution as I run higher at home than at work but other than things being 'bigger' it runs just like I am sitting at my house.
