Default Compiling Snapshots?
I downloaded this driver file for i810 from a snapshots page. Its a .tar.tar extension and i dont have a clue to compile or install it or whatever you do? When i extract it i get this Install.sh file which looks like instructions that move and compile stuff.

Is there a way to compile or sun this '.sh' install file? The fiels in the i810 directory are '.so' files, so im guessing they are already compiled files.

Untar it to a directory, open konsole, su to root and cd to that directory. Then type
Code:
./Install.sh
(if infact it has a capital I and not lower case...case must be correct). That should intall it or at least start the install unless it errors out. .ko files are modules that can be loaded into the kernel. There may be instructions near the end of the install that tells it what to do or it may actually place instructions in the /boot/loader.conf to load it on boot.

if X is running control + alt + f8

if not, I think

/usr/local/bin/kdm -nodaemon

should but I'm not sure.
