Default Created a PBI- some final questions to 'tidy' it up
Well, after the debacle of trying to get my PC-BSD online (and wasting other members' time), I decided to give something back by creating a PBI. The program is Eva, which is an alternative to QQ for windows or the OpenQ plugin for Gaim. For those of you who don't know, QQ is SUPER popular here in China (especially among girls 8) ).

So, before I submit it, there's a couple of things I'm unsure of.

In the PBI Creator 2.1:

When it asks for the author, do I put the original author's name or my own?

The program is licensed under the GNU GPL- do I need to copy/past the entire license, or will simply putting, "Licensed under the GNU GPL," suffice?

Outside of the PBI Creator:

When I try to uninstall, everything is removed except the desktop icon. I noticed that when I uninstalled Limewire, it did the same thing. Is this some kind of limitation of the PBI system or is there something I need to add to my code?

You put the author's name not yours.

Better copy/paste the entire license.

The desktop icon not being removed is PCBSD 1.2's bug. It's been posted.

What I usually will do before packing a PBI,I get every thing ready for the app itself then. I'll copy the license agreement to a text file in the PBI Project folder so a copy goes with the PBI and I can just paste it from there into PBI Creator later :-). Then I google for the author and the website. It's nice to include a Readme file and a link to the web site in the K-Menu in the PBI Creator.

Before I finish packing it, I also like to do a ls -R ./ > ./Packing_List.txt in the project directory to create a packing list of all the stuff within the PBI. Then make a short notes file if I had to do allot in the scripts or "flub" around to get the PBI working. It's not necessary to do that, but I do it so if I ever have to redo it or some one else update it I know what on earth was put in it and how.
