What are you trying to accomplish? Share files or enable other network services? (mail, web)

You can share files with Linux boxes by using either NFS or Samba. NFS is the more usual approach, while Samba works best if you are including Windows machines.

I have similar question. I have small network at home - others PC ar on Windowz (jet). So how to sahe files with Win and Pc-BSD? Tried to configure Samba - nothing...
