switching off atapi_dma doesn't help

hw.pci.allow_unsupported_io_range=1 and hw.cbb.start_memory=XXXXX doesn't help also
(on FreeBSD 6.0 it helps to make work sound card and pcmcia network card)

Yes, i already have 2 ntfs partitions on the only hdd, and don't wanna clean them

thought i can't uplug any devices from IBM TP because it's laptop and has all integrated. i was wrong

i manage to drag out internal :? modem and one of memory module, pcmcia network card (it was easy )

after that PC-BSD was successfuly installed in "without ACPI" mode on my laptop

P-3 500MHz, 12Gb HDD, 192Mb RAM, 2(or 4 don't remember exactly)Mb Video RAM

i'm really happy now

To make sound card and pcmcia network card work properly, i had to set manually hw.cbb.start_memory in value of "0x52000000". allow_unsupported_io_range for pci was already set in loader.conf. cool!
