pppd daemon died unexpectedly:/can't open options file
Installed, then re-installed PC-BSD with the same issue. Modem Query in kppp is OK. [Modem is USR5610 PCI hardware modem, known to work with Linux distros using kppp]. Modem initializes, and dials OK, then a message is displayed:
"pppd daemon died unexpectedly: Can't open options file /etc/ppp/options.
No such file or diretory."
I have specified /dev/quad/4 as the modem port in kppp modem configuration.
These are the files currently present in the /etc/ppp folder:
chap-secrets
pap-secrets
ppp.conf
All three files are marked with a red dot and a minus sign in the center.
Any clues for addressing this issue?
