Damn, now I get it- all icons are the same only boxes are different. Plastik is default KDE theme, I think this make all experience coherent for desktop.

I really don`t see any difference between Clearlooks and Plastik.

I've never had a problem with BSD GTK app's, if your going to fook with it, may as well match KDE L/F.

I also like my own ff/tb themes (qute3/blue ms office like)

Indeed there are *some* little differences between clearlooks and Plastik -> look attentively at the boxes. I prefer Plastik, which moreover is said to be the default KDE theme, so that's makes sense.

I would say they are different: scroll bars, tabs, drop-down menu, button highlights, bar separators, text fields outlines, etc...

From the # of votes I think allot of people don't know what "GTK" is, or don't care.

To me before I got on PC-BSD GTK was just some run time file collection that GIMP needed, much as a JRE is needed for a Java app.

crystal seems to be more appealing for me...

but, on linux, gnome, i prefer the hard-edged traditional looks. if only i could find something like that in kde. something like m$ look, because it's simple and to-the-point ... i tried to compile qtcurve, for the flat appearance, but i receive errors...
