UK keyboard incompletely mapped - PC-BSD Forums

I've selected a PC 105 key international keyboard, UK map, basic.

All is well except that the £ symbol (UK currency symbol if your browser has munged that) - which is above 3 on a UK keyboard layout - doesn't display at all. All the other symbols seem to display OK.

Does anyone know what's needed to fix this?

Extra bonus points for being able to display a Euro symbol too.

Are you using a laptop? My laptop keyboard had problems till I disabled numlock in options.

As it happens, yes I am, but I think that's not relevant in this case because PCBSD is running in a VMWare 4.5.2 session.

All the other symbols are fine - its running the UK layout OK apart from this.
