When a USB flash drive is connected, an icon shows up on the desktop for unmounting.
It only would worked half the time on my Toshiba A105-S2061 laptop.
trying mount_msdosfs /dev/da0s1 /mnt/da0s1 and simular would always return errors. Same in Konq. Some times it'd even panic the kernel.
Problem: The laptop has so many ACPI problems it's pitiful and USB suffers ether directory or indirectly.
(Tested with acpi_toshiba compiled into the kernel as well)
Solution: get a laptop less cheaply made.
