Default [PROPOSAL]: PC-BSD hardware compatibility list
While browsing sun microsystems website I found Solaris OS: Hardware Compatibility List. I think that for beginners or even for advanced Windows, Linux users this is good place to start, to be sure that theyr computers work without problem. Maybe even link forum posts to computer configuration.

sounds very good to me. The solaris page seemed very simple and easy to use.

PC-BSD Incompatible hardware

PC-BSD Compatible hardware

It would be nice if everyone added there hard ware and allot of the FreeBSD supported hard ware to this list so it could be turned someday into a searchable database

Yes, we already have it. We just need more people to contribute and add they HW specifications...
