Default Java in Firefox
OK, I'm a total BSD newbie here, but want to learn, since this PC-BSD system so far works better than any Linux distro I have tried.

My question is, how do I get Java working in Firefox? I downloaded the pbi for both Java and Firefox and installed them. But, when going to a website that needs Java, I get a "missing plugin" message. In the Firefox setup menu, Java is enabled. Do I need to manually create a symbolic link or some such? How do I do it? :?

They will be updating the Java PBI soon.

See this topic: http://www.pcbsd.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3146

With luck it will probably enable Java in firefox when it installs or allow a script to set up Java in all the main browsers from PBI.
