Default Update problem
If you install PCBSD v1.0rc2, one of the first things it does is ask if you want to grab the two updates that are available. If you say yes, it downloads both of them, but the install for the first one insists on rebooting. So after this reboot, it now tells you there is one update to be installed, and then it goes off and re-downloads patch #2 for rc2. Either it should know that it already downloaded it (best), or there should be some kind of flag to say to not download any further patches because a reboot is coming up.

i guess there is a problem with the download of those patches.

The best thing to do is get those patches as pbi and install them manually. Especially the second patch because it's huge.

After that check for more updates and you are movin!

It actually works okay in the end, you just have the redundant downloaded patch #2.
