Default Latest FREEBSD security update will not install
I have been trying to install the latest FREEBSD security update with PC-BSD update manager.
I select it press update, it starts tells me it is installing, runs for a few seconds then goes to checking for updates, and gives me the screen showing updates available.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say "Nothing." There's probably a bug/problem somewhere.

I can confirm the same behavior - 9.1 RELEASE.

Yes this is too here.

I get always the same FreeBSD Security update.

Install selected updates.

Update.

Checking for Update.

And again FreeBSD Security update available.

Me too.

When I select and proceed to install them it does automatically start a search for updates again.

PCBSD 9.1 64 bits.

Cheers.

Default Might this be the problem?
I have tried to update again as SU in a console using the command:-

"pc-updategui"

This opens the Update Manager I choose the "Freebsd security update" and choose to install the following message is returned:-

"The following files will be updated as part of updating to 9.1-RELEASE-p3:"
"/boot/kernel/linker.hints"
(("FreeBSD Security Updates", "FBSDUPDATE", "/boot/kernel/linker.hints") )
Update started
"Installing updates...install: ///usr/src/crypto/openssl/ssl/s3_cbc.c: No such file or directory"
"done."
Finished Update
Updates all Finished

I have looked in the /usr directory and /src does not appear
