Default German language
Hello, yesterday I installed 9.1 and it seems to be really improved compared to 9.0. Great Work!! But almost the whole system is in english.

I went to the System Settings -> Locale and there is only American English avaiable. Can I somehow (maybe later) install different language?

By the way happy new year!

The first step (or almost the first step...) in the PC-BSD installer is "choose your language"; that setting should allow you to install the whole system in German, or other language.

I don't know how to change after installing.

I did so, but only few parts are german, most is english. I haven't any problems with it, but I plan to install on a friend's machine and he is not so experienced with it.

On the PCBSD Translation System say that German language is translated 100% complete, maybe someone from the Team can give You more information.
Happy new year!

Yes, there it says last activity was on 2012-12-27 (after release on 04.12.2012) so there might be a way to download the language pack somewhere. But I think I have to do it manually as in "Locale" settings there is no option for downloading additional language.

Happy new year @all here.
