Default Opera crashes at start with KDE and PCBSD9.1
I've been testing the newest 9.1, and it is very impressive. I installed the Opera pbi, but it fails to start with KDE, but not with Gnome or the 'unsupported' desktops.
Starting Opera in a terminal window using KDE shows a libpng failure.
Any ideas on a quick fix?
Thanks.

Quick fix? Use Gnome...
But, seriously, if pasting content inside any field in Opera (address bar, search bar, new mail message) works for you, please, let me know. I've got some advices, including http://forums.freebsd.org/showpost.p...4&postcount=71 with no luck. Thanks.

We already found a solution for this in the PBI Discussion forum:
http://forums.pcbsd.org/showthread.php?t=18752&page=2

The quick solution is as follows from a notice in the UPDATING file for the port:
Quote:

AFFECTS: Users of www/opera
AUTHOR: itetcu@FreeBSD.org

If you are running KDE and you are using KDE's File dialog toolkit, and if
your Opera crashes on start with a 'libpng error: incorrect data check'
you can work around it by setting 'Dialog Toolkit=4' in your
.opera/operaprefs.ini [File Selector] section.
Hope this helps!
