Wanted to try 9.1 and it failed to install with the following error:

Code:
Running dd if=/boot/zfsboot of=/dev/ada1p4a skip=1 seek=1024

dd: /dev/ada1p4a : Operation not supported

Similar error when I used the first disc on the same machine (ada0p8).

FreeBSD 9, 9.1 and PC BSD 9 were able to install on that machine.

Default system upgrade from RC3 to 9.1-RELEASE makes dolphin, konqueror & konsole to miss out
just finished the system upgrade to 9.1 Release...
i noticed that dolphin, konqueror and konsole missed out to get installed !

my previous upgrades from 9.0>9.1-RC1>9.1-RC3 was a smooth sailing affair !

my current set up:
T500 Laptop, triple booting with win7, pcbsd and archlinux with pcbsd as default. i am using easybcd for boot loader and its by far best suited ! booting into pcbsd is not at al an issue, sound and other minor things like warden fine tuning needed but all set. without dolphin / konqueror and konsole... i felt totally handicaped ! any clue to set this right will help !

running pc-update manager to check for missing updates / upgrades returns a message that my system is fully updated !

Mine booted up just great at the install. Now when I try to boot it hangs at,

"WARNING: attempt to domain_add(bluetooth) after domainfinalize()
Fuse4BSD:version 0.3.9-pre1, FUSE ABI 7.19"

I hit return and it dumps me out to terminal mode and then goes into an endless loop.

FWIW, I haven't been able to reproduce this here...
The OP probably should have posted this in "Startup bugs..." ?, needless to say, I also have had issues, with pcbsd-9.1(x64), after a successful installation, of it NOT being able to bootup successfuly (using entire drive - with ZFS), ... ?
BUT, the same default installation using UFS2, all is ok. ?

There's some more here:
