Default How to switch desktop environment?
I installed my PC-BSD with XFCE, but now would like to try enlightenment. I don't see a PBI with it...is it possible to have it set up w/out reinstallation?

You simply need to go to the PC-BSD Control Panel ->System Manager -> System Packages in order to install/uninstall other Desktop Environments. Just select/unselect your settings and hit "Apply" to perform the system changes (I don't recommend removing the DE you are currently using, that can cause some interesting failures...).

Once the system packages are finished changing, just log out of your current DE, then you can select the DE you want to log into at the bottom of the screen (I think it appears only after you select your user).

Thanks.
I'd like to report some weirdness that I spotted on the way.
In GDM I changed system language, keyboard layout and DE that I wanted to load. Then I entered a wrong password. GDM remembered DE and language, but not keyboard layout. I repeated it several times.
