Default GDM instead of KDM?
Quick question gentlemen, why when installing the KDE desktop environment do we not get the option of using KDM for the login manager to better integrate the entire experience?

Sorry for the superbrief reply - I was trapped on a smart phone. I've read somewhere that KDM doesn't play as nicely with the various supported WMs as GDM (and now whatever the devs are putting together). I'm probably misremembering something there, so take that with a grain of salt.

Cheers!

The main reason for having GDM as default login manager is that KDM is too big to fit on the installation media.

Really? PC-BSD releases a 4.4GB DVD iso and adding KDM would use up the rest of the space available on a 4.7GB DVDRW thats crazy big for a login manager.
