Default Problem with creating packag kbd plugin
Hi all

I want to create a package for xfce4-xkb-plugin, but compilation failed with error: pbi_makeport: Error in download data, checksum mismatch.. Please try again later

I found this http://trac.pcbsd.org/ticket/465 howto to solve this problem.

I entered this command:
"gksu -a "pbi_portmake -c /home/petr/EasyPBI/Modules/xfce4-xkb-plugin -d /home/petr/EasyPBI/ports -o /home/petr/EasyPBI/PBI --delbuild --tmpfs""

The output was: "gksu -a "pbi_portmake -c /home/petr/EasyPBI/Modules/xfce4-xkb-plugin -d /home/petr/EasyPBI/ports -o /home/petr/EasyPBI/PBI --delbuild --tmpfs""
gksu -a pbi_portmake: Command not found.

Where is error?

Petr

I just answered this question on the mailing list query, but I am posting a copy of the solution here as well:

The problem is that the proper command to run is "pbi_makeport" not "pbi_portmake".
If you just copy and paste the full command that EasyPBI generates and displays on the CLI, it will avoid errors like this in the future.

As an aside: the new version of EasyPBI is actually included with the upcoming PC-BSD 9.1, and builds PBI's without needing this workaround anymore. If you switch over to the current PC-BSD 9.1-Beta1 image, you can start using it immediately.

Happy Building!

Just tar up your PBI module (not the full PBI) and send it to the pbi-dev mailing list. I can get it added to the official PC-BSD repository then.
