Default hand out PC-BSD USB drives with bootable Isotope
I think this might get costly but would be great. Hand out USB drives with Isotope installed. Just pop the flash drive into your PC and Poof, instant Isotope for them to check out. (for computers that can boot from flash drives)

I suggest a regular install over a live version because I believe it would run better, smoother.

I'm trying to set one up myself to test it.

I think it might be better to give away DVD's.

-Most auto-run without knowing which F8 F10 key to press to get into boot options

-Cheaper

-Some computers are unable to boot USB thumb drives.

Though if I was PC-BSD I would sell Thumb Drives with a PC-BSD logo on them, include a booklet on beginner How-To's, and PC-BSD logo stickers, much like the apple stickers I see everywhere. A PC-BSD inside sticker(Like windows). Branding is a great tool to get awareness.
