Throwing in the towel

anyway the truth is i haven't really thrown in the towel I'm still trying but pride prevents me from asking for help after saying I was throwing in the towel and I'm so confused with this system i don't even know what questions to ask anymore.

I know what you mean as I am also new to PC-BSD. Just remember how I think: The only stupid question I have, is the one I never ask.

Besides, all of the experts here were at some point newbies also... I mean they weren't born with a computer in their hand and knowing everything about FreeBSD & PC-BSD right out of the womb.

What PC-BSD needs are two things:
1) A "brainstorm" idea website, similar to Ubuntu Brainstorm, for users' to post their ideas on how to make PC-BSD easier to use, along with other ideas for improving PC-BSD.

This could easily be done with say a bug tracking script added to the pc-bsd website, and bugs/improvements that become most popular out of that list could be worked on by the developers. It wouldn't necessarily be a to-do list for the developers. They have there own plans and agenda for the OS, but it would make for a nice list of things to implement when time allows for it.

Well, there is a forum entry for bug reporting. There is also a feature request forum.
