Update: Well I reinstalled CentOS 6.2 as changing to 6.3 had issues on the server. Unfortunately forgot about this thread's problem so didn't have a ping test going and of course the problem happened again, LoL. New info is that the CentOS 6.2 automatically set itself for 10.1.10.11 which was also the same my PC-BSD regular computer was using, which resulted once again in my losing internet connectivity in PC-BSD.
Went into the PC-BSD Network Manager and manually set up the network details and chose 10.1.10.32 and that has given me internet connectivity, Yay!
One thing I did notice is that when I try to input DNS #1 and #2, I get this error message:
|
Code:
|
DNS #1 is out of range! (75.75.7.) Fields must be between 0-255 |
each time I try to enter a digit. Work around for this is to just click the "Ok" button each time you enter a digit.
Thanks for all the help and now this is a fine solution = having to enter the network info details manually is no big deal for me & I am just frakking thrilled to be able to still use PC-BSD along with CentOS. Hopefully one day we can get Vembu's StoreGrid program running with PC-BSD.
Thanks again Kris.
