Default PC-BSD desktop is more clear, sharp, and crisp than my other OSs desktop screens
PC-BSD desktop is more clear, sharp, and crisp than my other OSs desktop screens. So it is more cool to my eyes and do not strain my eyes. I can read and watch on my desktop all day. PC-BSD will save your eyes! Internet performance is super.

Start using PC-BSD now!

I agree with you 50%.. My screen is perfect with 19" inch monitor and Nvidia chipset but older computer with VIA graphics has defaulted to some minimal resolution which is usable, but not as good as it ought to be. That said, I like PC-BSD

Hi ideq105,
This is the compatibility list of video cards for Unix and Linux. I do not know if this is the updated list.

Im sorry ideq105,
As per the PC-BSD handbook, video cards are supported by the X.org drivers. Just check the list because VIA is listed on this link http://www.x.org/wiki/Projects/Drivers
