Code:
# portinstall sysutils/klaptopdaemon
then add to /etc/rc.conf lines:

Code:
apm_enable="YES"
#cpufreq_load=YES
#powerd_flags="-a adaptive -b adaptive"
options that is commented out do not work on all laptops.
