Default PC-BSD9 Installation Report Asus M5A88-M + AMD FX-8150 CPU
Pretty much a flawless install from my perspective. There are some nits, but they are pretty trivial.

Items of note:

HDAC "just worked" on this device from what I can tell. I'm not using any of the fancy audio ports (fiber, HDMI etc...).

The ATI VGA adapter is sort of wonky in a dual head config. Not sure if I should try updating modules/drm/radeon (buildkernel) or if I need an updated version of ports graphics/dri. Pretty sure I'm using s/w rendering on the adapter:

ZFS "just works" with this 2TB Hitachi drive.

The cheapy Realtek is fine for what I need. No issues noted there.

Shockingly, the 8-core FX-8150 is rocking and rolling in this box and I'm pretty happy. Not sure what the "hwpstate0: set freq failed, err 6" messages might mean, but they don't seem to be affecting anything.

Once again, cheers for a nice release folks.

I noted that the recent updates to xorg magically make my dual head display completely functional.
