I'd really like Gparted available on PCBSD. Was also thinking about the KDE Partition Manager, since that worked well in Ubuntu for me to format my 32 Gig Patriot USB drive.

Gparted and Parted are only for GNU/Linux.

Not usable with FreeBSD compatible and can destroy slices, use gpart and FreeBSD Tools better.

Thanks a lot for this info Nemysis.

Do you or anyone else know of any programs that work within PCBSD that can format USB drives? Sometimes PCBSD does not recognize my Patriot 32Gig USB drive and must format it by using a Windows LoL program or install my Ubuntu drive to use KDE Partition Manager.

Can you include Gparted and KDE Partition Manager for formatting usb thumb drives?
