Default Libre office 3.4.5 pbi - saving files results in "General Error" message
os - pcbsd 9-stable all system updates applied.

Desktop - gnome 2.

Hardware: ASUS k53E notebook - intel i5; iga; 5GB ram (detected) - zfs.

Installation of libreoffice 3.4.5 was uneventful.

The problem:

Saving swriter files produces a "General Error" message.

The file appears to be saved correctly.

Usage case:

Any kind of word processing that requires saving of documents will produce this message.

Removing the libreoffice-3.4.5 pbi and installing libreoffice via:

"pkg_add -r libreoffice"

results in the installation of libreoffice-3.4.4.

This freebsd package version of libreoffice does not produce an error message when saving files.

I don't know if the problem I'm experiencing is a result of the upgrade to libreoffice or in the packaging of the new version as a pbi.

The only way I can get a freebsd package version comparable to the pbi version is to "make install" the port; I've done a portsnap, upgrade to ensure the correct makefile version is in ports..

This compile is usually somewhat longer than most other port compiles; I'm not going to do that just yet ....

For now, I'm going to continue using the freebsd package.

Is this still an issue with the 3.5.2_2 version of the PBI?
