Default wifi on Dell Inspirion 1545
Hello,

This is an update on my earlier (http://forums.pcbsd.org/showthread.php?t=14399) experience in the subject.
Present findings are under 9.0.

After install I went to Network Configuration. It reported bwn as new hardwer and asked if I want it to configure. Answering it with yes nothing happened, no bwn related stuff appeared.
Then I checked dmesg which shows the same as in the previous report.

Changed the line of kdl_list in rc.conf as follows:
kld_list="if_bwn bwn_v4_lp_ucode runfw ng_ubt cuse4bsd sem ntfs ntfs_iconv udf udf_iconv ext2fs"

bwi stuff and bwn_v4_ucode have been removed bwn_v4_lp_ucode has been added.

Ater reboot bwn could successfully be configured and works fine since then.

Thanks for finding this!
The bwn_v4_lp_ucode kernel module will also be loaded for PC-BSD 9.1. This should allow the "low power" broadcom devices to also work out of the box.
