Default Default KDM theme not installed.
Preferring kdm to gdm (and KDE to gnome, in general), I enabled kdm4 in /etc/rc.conf and disabled gdm. Upon rebooting, kdm starts up, but displays a window with the following error:

Code:
Cannot open theme file /usr/local/share/apps/kdm/themes/hubble
This is on 9.0-RC3/amd64.

Looks like we had some leftovers from 8.x. You need to edit this file:

/usr/local/share/config/kdm/kdmrc:

Look for:
Theme=/usr/local/share/apps/kdm/themes/hubble

And change to another theme.
