Default HP Deskjet 3050A J611 / Linux
I have an HP Deskjet 3050A, a new printer. CUPS doesn't have a driver for it. HP lists a "unix" driver on this printer's page, but that link redirects to a Linux driver and offers .RPM, .DEB, some others.
How does one install a Linux driver into PC-BSD? This is, of course, assuming that the Linux compatibility layer would allow the driver to work.
