I just contacted the Phoenix Viewer admins and requested a freebsd version.
...Well it was worth a shot, and I hope they reply.

Just letting you all know, because I'm not a developer, so in case the admins respond, it would be nice to have the PCBSD devs aware of it and able to take over the conversation.

Hello Linuxis,

Does Firestorm have the option of selecting which grid to visit [Grid Manager]? There are many grids other than SL [Second Life]. These grids are all accessible via viewers/browsers like Firestorm but some viewers make it much easier than others.

I made a request earlier for the Kokua Viewer to be ported to FreeBSD. It allows you to select from a number of grids at login. It is not exclusively SL grid.

Kokua does have source code for Linux 32 & 64 bit.

I would be supportive of any effort to get a viewer working on Free/PC BSD as long as the viewer is flexible (related to managing grids).
