One of my favorite programs is Launchy. It's small and addicting, fully skinnable. You can launch almost anything by simply typing it. I never imagined that there was a Linux version of the program. It's open source so I would love for there to be a BSD version as well.
Can the PBI author please update to the 2.5.1 release when convenient? This includes a fix that allow the user to specify the location of the launchy files, such as launchy.ini and launchy.db on UNIX-like systems.
You will want to contact the FreeBSD port maintainer to see if he can update the port. The PBI's that we currently create are simply re-packaged versions of the FreeBSD ports, so once the port gets updated we will update the PBI version as well.
