I can't find an app for that. There was one on freshports, but after long installation I realized it was for Enlightment and I don't see a way to run it.

I need one, 'cause Xarchiver is totally broken on 7z files and I don't see a way to describe it w/out 1000 words.

The GIMP will take screen shots. As will Ksnapshot. I think PC-BSD comes with the latter installed.

Apart of the KDE desktop is "ksnapshot" which I use here. You'll have to
go into system-manager and install KDE though.

There is also xfce4-screenshooter, if you have XFCE installed.

I tried XFCE screenshot utility, but when I click it there is no apparent reaction. I searched whether it saved the file somewhere and didn't find anything.
